India's first overland brand, built to global standards.

AdventureX4x4 Outfitters selects, fits and field-tests premium overland equipment from Faridabad — and leads expeditions across the Himalayas with it.

What we do

Three things, done properly.

We build overland gear — rooftop tents across four series, awnings, recovery equipment, water systems, and extreme-weather solutions. Everything is designed and engineered for the terrain Indians actually drive: monsoon, dust, altitude, salt and sub-zero cold.

We outfit vehicles — from a stock Suzuki Jimny to a full-size expedition build, our team specs and fits the right kit for where you want to go.

And we lead expeditions — small-group, vehicle-supported overland trips through Spiti, Ladakh, the Northeast and beyond, run by the same people who design the gear.

How we earn it

What “built to global standards” actually means.

“Global standard” is not a slogan we print on a box — it is a bar we can be held to. It means four-season shells that hold their shape in the cold of a Spiti or Kaza winter, not just in a showroom. It means fabrics, poles and mounts rated against real load, wind and temperature, then proven on the routes we name: Spiti, Ladakh, the Rann of Kutch and the high passes where there is no second chance and no tow truck waiting.

We test where the gear is used. Because the same team that designs our equipment also runs guided expeditions on it, our kit is never “launched and forgotten” — it is driven, slept in, recovered with and stress-tested on real trips, season after season. Anything that does not earn its place on the roof of a Thar, a Jimny, a Fortuner or a Defender does not make it into the catalogue.

We outfit and field-test from Faridabad. AdventureX4x4 is not a catalogue of generic imports — every line is chosen to a global standard, fitted to Indian rigs and proven on real expeditions before it earns a place in the range. We stand behind quality by what we choose to carry, iterate quickly when the trail teaches us something, and back every product for its working life — not just until the box is opened.

We are honest about fitment. A tent we list for a Jimny goes on a Jimny. A mount we sell for a Fortuner is torqued to a figure we will stand behind. Every specification we publish is real and written down, because the desert and the snowline do not grade on effort — they grade on whether the gear holds.

Behind it is more than a decade of our founder overlanding India's hardest terrain. AdventureX4x4 was built on years of running and filming real expeditions across the Himalaya, and that experience is built into every decision — from the weight of a softshell so it spares your suspension and fuel, to the placement of a power port so it is reachable in the dark at −20°C.

And it is backed by a standard you can hold us to: GST-compliant pricing with nothing hidden, a one-year warranty, end-to-end support, and a Faridabad Experience Centre where you can see, touch and fit the gear before you commit. That is the whole brief — chosen for Indian terrain, to a bar set by the best in the world.

Our mission

To equip every Indian overlander with gear that doesn't compromise — and to make the expedition, not the purchase, the point.

Our vision

To be the overland brand the world associates with India — proof that an Indian brand and a global standard belong in the same sentence.

Our promise

Nothing ships unless we have lived in it, driven with it, and trusted it on a real expedition. End-to-end support, for the life of the product.

The people behind it

It started in a garage
in Faridabad.

AdventureX4x4 began with one founder, one Mahindra Thar, and a refusal to accept that good overland gear had to be imported.
